ESlip Limited (New Zealand company number 7083793) trading as "PSlip" ("us", "we", "our") is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers. This policy will explain how we will collect, store and use personal information. Personal information means information we receive from you about identifiable individuals. This Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website.

"Users" refers to people who use PSlip to create forms to send to recipients (such as teachers, staff, organisers).

"Recipients" refers to people who respond to forms created by users (such as parents or guardians).

2. Collection of Information

The purpose of the PSlip web site is to provide you with a safe and secure method to communicate, collect and share information with other people and organisations by means of online forms and notices.

Personal information collected by PSlip will only be information required for the purpose of using the PSlip system either as a user or as a recipient. This may include the following:

Personal information which is submitted by recipients in response to questions they are asked on the forms they receive.
Personal information required from a user in order to set up an account with PSlip or via communication with PSlip support.

2.1 Users

PSlip users are required to sign up for an account. For this purpose we will ask for personal information such as your name, email address, phone number and address, along with information regarding the school or organisation you will be using with your PSlip account.

Purchases from our website may require information such as your credit card, bank account details and address to be collected by our payment processor services (such as PayPal or Poli). We do not store sensitive financial information such as credit card numbers - all such information is handled by our payment processors and is never made available to us.

If a user creates forms through our services and arranges for them to be sent to recipients, information such as name and email address of the recipients will be collected.

2.2 Recipients

If you are completing a PSlip generated response form as a recipient, we will collect any personal information you enter into the form. This may include information about yourself, your children or a third party. The school or organisation PSlip users may have access to be able to view this information.

Recipients use the PSlip site to complete their forms and we store a copy of each completed and submitted form. This may include the image of the recipient's signature.

2.3 Recipients and Users

You acknowledge that the personal information we collect from you is your own information or information which you have been authorized to provide us.

If you make an enquiry, provide feedback or make a complaint to us, we may collect your name and contact details.

3. Storage and Security of Personal Information

We will take all reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect personal information we hold about individuals, however we do not guarantee the security of the internet. We will never ask you to disclose your username and/or password. You are responsible for keeping your personal information in your control secure at all times. Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. Information submitted by recipients (such as parents) to users (such as teachers or school staff) is accessible by users of the organisation that created the form.

3.1 Distribution of Information

We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these companies for marketing purposes.

4. Retention of Personal Information

We will not hold personal information longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is held.

5. Collection of Other Information

The site may use cookies and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookies and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the site, and understanding how visitors use the site. Cookies can also help customize the site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology, however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information.
